Our Story
Formed back in the mists of time, towards the end of the last century, at the dawn of the internet, a group of dedicated re-enactors desperate to learn historically accurate techniques of sword fighting, scoured books and museums for real methods. At a conference at the Wallace Collection we made connections to experts and access to original copies of sword manuals and our group was born.
Since then we have performed hundreds of displays for heritage bodies, provided workshops and study days, practiced with other professionals in the field, practised HEMA (as it is now known) and engaged in original research.
